International Common Platform

International Common Platform for Progressive Parties

Preamble

Citizens of the world, unite!

Today, humanity stands before problems that cross borders. War and peace, climate crisis, technology control, inequality, and the retreat of democracy are problems that cannot be solved by any one nation's power alone.

Yet politics remains confined within borders, and citizens' suffering is pushed to the periphery of the international order.

We declare the common foundation of a new progressive politics where citizens of each country become the protagonists, each country's party decides autonomously, and solidarity is global.

This platform is not a document for creating one central party, but common values and principles of action that local parties in each country can share.

Article 1 — Human Dignity Transcends Borders

All human beings have the right to live with dignity regardless of nationality, race, gender, religion, class, or immigration status.

Citizens' dignity cannot be a means for national interest or economic growth.

Parties in each country place the standard of policy and institutions not on efficiency but on human life and safety.

Article 2 — War Is the Failure of Politics, Peace Is the Responsibility of Politics

War is not inevitable fate but the accumulated result of inequality, exclusion, and diplomatic failure.

True security comes not from military buildup but from politics that removes the conditions for war.

공동 원칙 / Shared Principles:

  • Minimization of use of force
  • Priority on diplomacy, mediation, and multilateral cooperation
  • Opposition to arms race
  • Protection of civilians and compliance with international human rights standards

Article 3 — Climate Crisis Is a Matter of Survival and Justice

The climate crisis is not an environmental issue but humanity's common survival crisis.

Responsibility for the climate crisis lies not with individuals but with industrial structures and political choices.

공동 원칙 / Shared Principles:

  • Legally binding carbon reduction targets
  • Strengthening the public nature of renewable energy
  • International solidarity and compensation for climate damage
  • Protection of workers and regions in the transition process

Article 4 — Joint Response to Global Inequality

Transnational capital and platforms cross borders, but labor and rights remain restricted.

Inequality is both a domestic issue and a global structural problem.

공동 원칙 / Shared Principles:

  • Fair taxation and international cooperation to prevent tax avoidance
  • Establishing international minimum standards for labor rights
  • Universal access to social safety nets

Article 5 — Technology Is Humanity's Asset and Must Be Democratically Controlled

AI, data, and automation technologies are public technologies that affect all of humanity's life.

The benefits of technological development must not be concentrated in a few corporations and nations.

공동 원칙 / Shared Principles:

  • Prohibition of algorithmic discrimination
  • Data sovereignty and personal information protection
  • Labor protection from technological transition
  • Establishing international norms for AI and platforms

Article 6 — Democracy Must Be Everyday Life Beyond Elections

Democracy does not end with voting.

Citizens are not consumers or spectators but continuous protagonists of politics.

공동 원칙 / Shared Principles:

  • Expansion of citizen participation
  • Transparent decision-making
  • Decentralization of power and accountability
  • Firm rejection of hatred and discrimination

Article 7 — Solidarity Is Autonomous Cooperation, Not Obedience

This platform does not deny each country's history and conditions.

Each local party autonomously organizes policies and organizations suited to its country's reality based on this common platform.

International solidarity is not a command system but a network of experience sharing and joint action.

Appendix — Principles of the International Progressive Party Network

  • 1We do not create a single central power.
  • 2We respect parties where citizens of each country are the protagonists.
  • 3We treat war, inequality, climate collapse, and technology monopoly as common political agendas.
  • 4We organize joint statements, joint campaigns, and joint actions when needed.

Conclusion

Happiness is not the privilege of any one nation, and dignity cannot be divided by borders.

This international platform is not a completed answer but a promise to create answers together.

Citizens of each country, progressive parties of each country, let us unite in solidarity before our common responsibility while respecting each other's differences.

Citizens of the world, unite!
